If you guys follow me on my main journal, you know that felonazcorp and I have been writing an AU. If you don't, here's the skinny: this is a direct AU of her ballet!au (which you should all go read if you have not), plus a mashup of an AU of an AU I created that was an offshoot of my hs!au (it's a long story). This means that this is a story about dancer!Jim and actor!Bones. Roll with it, we had a lot of fun writing it, so (we're hoping) it should be fun to read. :)

I actually wrote this a few weeks ago for the kink meme (prompt here), and realized today that I hadn't posted it here yet. Also, to those of you that aren't on my flist on my main journal and didn't see the announcement: I'm finally working on the last part of the city!verse. Classes have destroyed my free time, so I'm not sure when I'll get around to finishing it, but at least it's started. :)

You know how I said I was doing that HS!AU? This is it. Only more than just a HS!AU. It's a grade school/middle school/high school/college/law/med school!AU. Roll with me here, haha. This fic owes a lot to andrealyn and felonazcorp who cheered me on, served as a sounding board and gave me all sorts of amazing ideas. And just in case that didn't make them pure awesome, they were also my betas. :) Also, this is longer than my usual fare - it's about 15,000 words. Also also, the title is from the song "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift.

THIS COMES WITH A WARNING: the zombies are (imo) not even the darkest thing in here. This is a bleak, unhappy story that deals with the breakdown of society and Leonard and Jocelyn's relationship. Jim doesn't make it out of the story unscathed either. That being said, it does end on an upswing.

Someone on the kink meme said we needed zombies in apocalypse form. Because I'm a total sucker for zombies, end of the world fic, and AUs, I was all over that shit like white on rice, natch. (The title is ganked from an episode of Entourage - Silo was evidently a screenplay Billy Walsh wrote.) I'm pretty sure this is my only fic with a body count.

Star Trek, R? We'll go with R, what the heck. Kirk/McCoy, Spock/Uhura. The aftermath of widespread infection - they're all just trying to survive, not fight.

I'm totally not responsible for any cavities this causes. :D This is set in the city!verse, but it's not the next part or anything, and takes place almost a year after the current city!time (current city!time: August 2022, this takes place in like April or May 2023. Not that I think this much about these things or anything.)
